Introducing LURE

Welcome to the home of Nickie-Ben, a new genre film label based in Scotland, UK. LURE is our launch film, a 20min short produced as a proof of concept for a larger feature project. Directed by David Lumsden and written by Ronnie MacKintosh, the film demonstrates the quality of craft and storytelling that Nickie-Ben aspires to, setting a flag in the ground for every NB production to follow.

Filmed over three days in June of ‘23 down in a heat drenched Kilmarnock and supported by a crew of many of our previous collaborators, everyone brought their A-game and the results speak for themselves. We’ll post more updates regarding this exciting debut project as they happen.
